Biography
Wilson (Wei Shen) Zou is an emerging Asian Australian actor from Sydney, NSW. He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Despite being always interested in film, he did not decide to pursue an acting career until when he was 25. Working full time in an office during the COVID pandemic made him realise that life was short and that he ought to be chasing passions instead of delaying them.
Since then Wilson been building invaluable experience across film, online content, modelling and voiceover work, gaining a reputation as a bombastically fast and accomplished learner. He is continuously improving himself through acting classes at Sydney Acting Studio and stuntman training at Stunt Action Consultants.
He also competes in martial art competitions (Muay Thai, Boxing, Taekwondo) and has a breakdancing background (seven years). He also enjoys practicing different forms of weapons such as nun-chucks, a bo staff and sword.
Wilson’s zany, pastel, offbeat energy in contrast with the more straight-laced, arthouse drama or political thriller persona and a moodier, horror undertone heft would place him in the right roles. Thriving on such creative pressure and challenges, he is open to unexpected tonal shifts and character physicality with a standout fluid, resourceful Jackie Chan-esque fighting style.
