Our role as Agent

An agent in NSW is governed and bound by the Entertainment Industry Act. More information is available from THE OFFICE OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS titled "'Fact Sheet for Performers". It works just like a real estate agent does. We sign up a performer, manage the 'sale' of their skills, and charge a commission, the amount of which is set by legislation; for actors, for example, it's 10% of their gross wage.

We offer not only full casting services for smaller and full scale film, theatre, and television/commercials, but also an exclusive artists representative management designed to give our artists a one-to-one experience of having their careers nurtured and developed while at the same time sourcing opportunities within Australia and internationally.

We negotiate contracts and logistics, assist you to avoid unscrupulous operators, and generally advise you on your career and role choices that you make. In short, we always act in your best interests: with transparency, fairness and honesty.

At the end of the day, you employ us; we don't employ you. We work for you, not the other way around.
