Biography
Marcel Cole comes from a family of musicians, so he has been performing his whole life. However his formal training began at the age of nine at the Kim Harvey School of Dance in Canberra where he studied ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary dance. He went on to study ballet and contemporary dance at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington, NZ, but then he took a different turn.
Having discovered the wonderful world of cabaret and afterwards studying theatre, mime and clown in Australia, London and Paris, Marcel has since hit the variety scene and has achieved success from his award-winning national touring show “The Ukulele Man” (2023-2024) and national and international touring show “Smile: The Story of Charlie Chaplin” (2024-2026) respectively.
