Moving across to Sydney from Canberra to pursue her bigger-city dreams, Madeleine Zinner is a dedicated, passionate and formally trained actress. Having studied at NIDA Open, Actors Centre Australia and Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop, she has been able to bring forth an impressively developing acting range, enthusiasm and professionalism.
Using techniques the likes of Stanislavski, Meisner and scene/character analysis skills, Madeleine has the recall to draw from emotional wells, imagination and lived-in experiences to supersede the acting barrier as a psychological engine of real life and truthfulness. In other words, she makes the barrier between screen and audience as thin as she prodigiously likes it to be. Through storytelling that is at once visceral, exhibitory and persuasive she is a pastiche of both self-reflection and reflection upon society.
With previous experience in theatre performance and formal training for screen acting, Madeleine is a creative problem-solver and discerning collaborator who understands—and largely succeeds in relaying—hearty subtext and (sub)conscious interpretation of energy through whichever platform she intends.
