Biography
Izabella Louk is a Sydney-based actor, dancer, writer and comedian who has performed across the United States and Australia. Originally from Sydney, in 2016 she moved to the United States to complete a Bachelor of Theatre Arts at Drew University, New Jersey. She graduated in May 2020, having been awarded the prestigious Thomas H. Kean President's Award for Overall Excellence in Theatre Arts.
Whilst in the United States, Izabella trained and performed with the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey as well as Tectonic Theater Project. She utilised Tectonic's devising method Moment Work to devise “Stillwater”, an original play with music that premiered Off-Broadway in March 2019 at the Helen Mills Theater in New York. She also became a member of the New Jersey Play Lab Acting Company.
Now back in Australia, Izabella co-founded Three Quarters Friday: a production collective that provides opportunities and experience to emerging artists.
