Biography
Isabella-Rose Calvo graduated with a Diploma of Musical Theatre from Brent Street Performing Arts in 2021. Upon graduating she has worked with Noteable Theatre Company in their productions: “Charlie & The Chocolate Factory” where she played support lead Violet as well as “Kinky Boots” as a Featured Dancer.
Isabella has also recently worked with After You Productions as a Scare Actor and performed a cabaret at Wild Heart Creative’s show “A Step in Time”. For more than five years she has been running her own Children’s Entertainment Company where she can use her skills to spread joy and magic. As well as Musical Theatre skills, she has acted in TVCs such as “Catch.com.au” and “SBS World Cup” as a Featured French Woman.
Isabella continues her vocal training with Jennifer Peers and Ali Calder and has also been working closely with Amy Campbell in the acting department. She has also trained with Simone Sault and Paul Tabone and other various industry professionals in “The Broadway & West End Experience” Workshop where she developed her skills and gained an enormous amount of insight and knowledge. In recent years, she has also taken courses at AMAW and with TheHubStudio.
Isabella has a strong passion for Latin dance ranging from Salsa to Bachata, Reggaeton and Samba. She has been currently training towards competing and performing with Salsa/Bachata Instructor Mercedes Olivera while concurrently taking classes at Latin Junction, Latin Dance Australia and Manly Salsa respectively. She has also become a Salsa instructor at Manly Salsa from 2025.
Isabella eagerly continues to compete and perform in the Latin dance scene so that she can bring this skill set into the industry and have a versatile career, thriving as a triple threat performer.
