Biography
Lisa Lottie (Lisa Lotte van Eeden) was born in the Netherlands. She moved to London aged 17 in search of greater things and ended up working a truly boring retail job. Always passionate about performing but slightly confused on how to channel this, she discovered circus arts in 2005 and promptly ran away and joined a traditional circus in India. A couple of trips around the world and a thousand shows later, Lisa finally settled back in London where she started chipping away at a street theatre career.
In 2011 Lisa graduated with a degree in Circus from The National Centre for Circus Arts (conservatoire for dance and drama UK) as well as being a regular act holding a solo show on Covent Garden’s legendary piazza. Since then she has been working full time as a street theatre solo, variety act, ensemble performer and occasional model at events, galas, corporate and private shows in 30+ countries around the world.
In 2013 Lisa relocated to Melbourne for want of better weather, avocados and more than 15 square metres for a home. She is a regular on the Edinburgh, Adelaide and Canadian Fringe circuits, a far too frequent flyer and a huge animal lover. When she is not on stage she is most likely at home fostering animals for her local RSPCA.
