Biography
Grace Stamnas graduated from the Diploma of Musical Theatre at NIDA in 2017. During her studies, she performed in “Chimerica” directed by Kip Williams at Sydney Theatre Company. Since graduating she was selected to perform in two additional NIDA productions outside of her course, 2nd Year BFA Production of “The Changeling” and MFA Director’s Production of “The Bacchae”, which was then taken to Adelaide Fringe Festival in March 2018. In the same year she devised and performed in Little Eggs Collective’s critically acclaimed production of “Pinnochio” as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival. The production was awarded two Sydney Fringe Awards.
In 2019 she performed in ATYP’s production “Intersection 2019: Arrival” at the SBW Stables Theatre and Little Eggs Collective sold-out season of “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” at Kings Cross Theatre. Grace has rehearsed “Extended Play” with Oliver Shermacher, performing at City Recital Hall Sydney in August; “SAMO is Dead” for KXT Bakehouse in September, and “Hairworm” in early October at the Old 505 Theatre.
